
The ACC is going to stay at an 8-game schedule, with the requirement that a school also play an additional game against a team from the power five conferences, or Notre Dame.

This does not impact Florida State, because it already plays Florida on an annual basis. Jimbo is also not against playing one FCS game per year.
One unanswered question: Can an ACC team schedule an ACC team not appearing on its schedule and have that satisfy the requirement?
