Tyron Johnson is one of the most sough-after receiver recruits in the country. With smooth, deceptive speed, nice hands and a true feel for the position, it is easy to see why Johnson holds more than 25 offers. He is the No. 3 receiver recruit in the country according to the 247Sports composite.

Out of New Orleans (La.) Warren Easton, most everyone expects the 6'1, 191-pound Johnson to end up at LSU.

But Johnson says that LSU is not the only school making a push.

"Texas Tech and LSU are after me right now," Johnson said. He said he has a special relationship with both coaching staffs, who visit as often as they are allowed and message him via social media all the time.

Johnson also mentioned that he may take a visit to Gainesville to see the Florida Gators in July, and that he is excited to see the new Florida offense. He said that he knows the Gators did not throw much in 2013, but that they do plan to in 2014.

Johnson plans to announce his commitment at the Under Armour All-America Game in January.

The receiver said that he does not have a top list of schools. However, he did say that he would release a top five soon, and that LSU, Texas Tech and Texas A&M are sure to be on it.

What does he really look for in a school?

"Great coaching," Johnson said. "Every time I go on a visit I take my trainer and my dad, and we evaluate the coaches," adding that he pays attention to which coaching staffs put wide receivers in the league and how they will develop him as a player.

He also noted that he cares about football and not fashion, and is not caught up in uniforms.

Johnson has been invited to Nike's The Opening in Portland in July and SB Nation Recruiting will catch back up with him then.
