Michael Weber is one of the top playmakers in the nation, and is receiving interest from major programs across the country looking for his services in the class of 2015.
Weber attends Detroit (Mich.) Cass Technical High School, and is projected to play running back at the next level. He is listed at 5'10 and weighs in at 205 pounds. He is a consensus four-star recruit, receiving the rating from 247Sports, Rivals, Scout and ESPN. Rivals is highest on Weber, ranking him as the 10th-best running back recruit for the class of 2015, but all four services rate him among the top 15 players at his position in the nation.
The 247Sports Composite, which aggregates the ratings of all four major recruiting services, considers Weber a four-star, ranking him as the 13th-best running back in the country and the second-best player in the state of Michigan.
Weber holds offers from Michigan, Ohio State, Michigan State, Miami, Tennessee, Wisconsin and Nebraska, among others.

There is a lot to like about Mike Weber. He has college-ready size and will be ready to take a beating on the first day he steps on campus, though he could probably add 5-10 more pounds of muscle in a college strength program.
Weber runs angry. He has average speed, and gets to his top speed with good quickness. He embraces contact, but has enough wiggle to slide and not take on huge hits. But make no mistake -- Weber is a powerful runner, and is not going to make a lot of college defenders miss. He does keep his legs moving through contact.
I think Weber would be rated higher if he had better ability to make defenders miss, which would increase his big runs. But he is a no-nonsense runner and should be a valuable player at the major college football level.
