Priest Willis has elected to reschedule his visit to Virginia until December 1 in order to spend time with Virginia's coaches, the talented defensive back's father told 247sports.
Virginia looks like the obvious underdog in Willis' recruitment. When considering his cousin is freshman linebacker Demeitre Brim and Walker's long-standing friendship with UVa assistant Shawn Moore, there has been talk of the visit being more of a "charity" affair than that of serious interest.
Walker laughed at the claims.
"Priest is sincerely interested in Virginia for two big reasons other than his cousin; academics and Mike London's willingness to play young players. Virginia's academic reputation is off the chart. I will also add that he has talked with Mike London and Virginia more than any other staff in the country outside of Arizona State."
Willis has already tripped to Nebraska and will visit LSU later in the season.
Bud's take: I had a chance to see Willis in person for Nike's The Opening 2012. He is an impressive DB with good size and length. I think he could play corner in the right system, but can also see him at safety.
