Tennessee gets its second star defensive tackle of the 2015 class.

Shy Tuttle, a premier defensive tackle recruit, committed to Tennessee on Friday. Out of Lexintgon (N.C.) North Davidson, Tuttle is rated four-stars by the 247sports composite rating and is widely considered one of the 10 best defensive tackles in the country.

Early on, it looked like Tuttle, who checks in at 6'3 and 315 pounds, would choose Clemson or North Carolina. But in recent months, Tennessee made a huge jump in his recruitment and was considered the favorite over the Tar Heels. SB Nation's Rocky Top Talk believed Tuttle was going to Tennessee for quite some time.

Recruiting fans will remember that Tuttle was one of the prospects to whom Tennessee sent a photoshopped Rolling Stone magazine cover with the recruit alongside Beyonce.

Tuttle also holds offers from all of the major schools in the Southeast -- Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Florida State, LSU ... you get the picture. Check out SB Nation's scouting report on Tuttle here.

In short, it's his ability to move such a large human body with the quickness and control that he displays. Tuttle is a very big player at 315 pounds, but he has the skinny ankles that are the hallmark of big men who move with great suddenness.

At the high school level, Tuttle is way too much for blockers to handle. His size demands a double team, but he is able to stack, shed and split quite well, and he also gets rid of blockers with a violent hand chop and side-step maneuver as well, which I did not expect to see.

The Volunteers now have the best pair of defensive tackle recruits in the country, as he will be joining five-star Kahlil McKenzie of California, who is a Volunteer legacy and committed earlier in the summer at Nike's The Opening. Check out SB Nation's scouting report on McKenzie here. McKenzie tweeted about bringing Tuttle to Rocky Top.

Butch Jones and co. certainly have a lot of recruiting momentum in Knoxville.
