What are Florida State's chances of flipping the five-star receiver recruit from Auburn?
Nate Craig-Myers committed to the Auburn Tigers on July 21, 2014, but that hasn't stopped other schools from pursuing the five-star receiver recruit from Tampa (Fla.) Catholic. The coaches pursuing him the hardest are from the Florida State Seminoles.
On Saturday, Craig-Myers visited Florida State for its junior day event.
"It went well, I got to spend time with [receivers coach Lawrence] Dawsey," the 6'2, 210-pound Craig-Myers said of the visit.
Dawsey is one of the coaches with whom Craig-Myers has a good relationship.
"It's a great relationship. It's close," he said. "We don't really talk about football, we talk about family and school."
Florida State pitched the opportunity to make an early impact and play in a pro-style system to Craig-Myers. And he has a connection to the school: sophomore linebacker Jacob Pugh is his cousin.
Craig-Myers wants to come back for Florida State's spring game. For now, it gave him some things to talk about with his mom.
"It was a good visit, more than I expected," he said. "I've got to sit down with my mom and talk about it."

Craig-Myers also recently expressed a desire via social media for his half-brother Jayvaughn Myers to be offered a scholarship by Florida State. Myers has some offers of the Rutgers and USF level. The two visited FSU together, and while Myers did not receive the offer, he'll have an opportunity to earn one at the school's summer camp.
"It would be big for him," he said of his half-brother Jayvaughn Myers. "I want to get his name out just as well as mine."
Craig-Myers stressed that he and Jayvaughn are not a package deal.
While Craig-Myers enjoyed his Florida State visit, he still has strong feelings for the Auburn Tigers. His relationship with Auburn coach Dameyune Craig is equally strong.
"Coach Dawsey and coach Craig are the coaches I have the tightest relationship with. It's more of a father figure relationship," Craig-Myers said.
And Craig-Myers said that Auburn understands he is still considering his options.
"It's just a commitment," Craig-Myers said. "They know that I'll still be looking at other schools. They understand."
Craig-Myers also wants to return for Auburn's spring game on April 18. He isn't sure when he will make a final decision, and indicated that it would be based on feel and not a timeline. He said he's looking for a "family" feel.
In the meantime, Craig-Myers is coming back from a leg injury that cost him all but his first game of the 2014 season.
"It's going really good. I'm getting after it and just working a lot on rehab," Craig-Myers said. "I'm doing routes on air and I'll be ready at the end of this month."
