Twitter users find critiques of Jameis Winston to be racist

While most of the internet lauded Jameis Winston for poking fun at his past mistake of shoplifting crab legs (a hookup gone bad, he says), some folks in areas with a deep history of racism just couldn't help themselves.

What was point of Jameis Winston serving crablegs at his draft party? Thumbing his nose at laws against shoplifting? Grow up, dude.

And one took it a step further, elevating Johnny Manziel, a player with an actual criminal record and a substance abuse problem that recently landed him in rehab over Winston.

Twitter users quickly realized what was up.

It might be easier for them to tweet "Jameis Winston is a black QB with a larger-than-life personality and him having fun and not acting meek and reserved is too much for me."
