94-85 Overall (53 percent) | Week 8
This is not an attractive slate of games, but all wins count the same. Last week I took a lot of favorites, and this week I am on quite a few underdogs. Happy Halloween.
1 . North Carolina at Pittsburgh +3: Pittsburgh might be the better team, and getting the three points at home on a Thursday night is nice.
2 . West Virginia +14.5 at TCU: TCU's offense is on track, but its defense is nothing special and West Virginia should be able to score enough.
3 . Oregon +3 at Arizona State: Getting Vernon Adams back should be a big help.
4 . Vanderbilt +13 at Houston: Vanderbilt's defense should be enough to keep this game within one score.
5 . Stanford -10.5 at Washington State: Washington State's defense is awful. Stanford will mash with the run game.
6 . Virginia Tech -2 at Boston College: Boston College's offense was in a rebuilding year before its awful injuries. Now it is hopeless.
7 . UMass +3 at Ball State: UMass is a better team than Ball State, and getting a full field goal is worth it.
8 . Oklahoma State at Texas Tech +3.5: The Red Raiders would be undefeated as well if they had Oklahoma State's schedule.
9 . Troy +24 at Appalachian State: Troy showed well last weekend in New Mexico and this is a lot of points.

10 . Oklahoma -39 at Kansas: No look ahead for the Sooners who are playing well, as Iowa State is on deck.
11 . USC -6 at Cal: USC is super public, but I still think Cal is overrated. It's Jared Goff and not much else.
12 . Clemson at NC State +10.5: NC State's offensive line is now healthy, and I trust Jacoby Brissett to keep this within the number.
13 . Nebraska at Purdue +10: Is Nebraska really good enough to be laying double digits on the road? I say no.
14 . Georgia State +19 at Arkansas State: Arkansas State is a deserved favorite, but my numbers say grab anything over 17 with GSU.
15 . Louisiana Monroe at Louisiana Lafayette -11: Monroe had to play at Idaho on Saturday, while Lafayette played a rare Tuesday game. The extra rest should pay off.
16 . Georgia Tech at Virginia +6: The Hoos are in a prime spot to catch Georgia Tech in a letdown, and the Yellow Jackets have a lot of injured defensive backs at the moment.
17 . Maryland +17 at Iowa: No team has had worse turnover luck than Maryland, and Iowa has yet to play a good opponent.
18 . Texas at Iowa State +6.5: This feels like a trap, and I'll side with those laying the trap.
19 . South Carolina at Texas A&M -16: Everyone is down on Texas A&M, but the Aggies are still a lot better than the Gamecocks.
20 . Michigan at Minnesota +14: The Wolverines do not have the offense to be laying two touchdowns to an average Gophers team on the road. Minnesota could play inspired football to honor its coach
