Two four-star recruits discuss being pursued by Alabama, Florida and FSU.

CRAWFORDVILLE (Fla.) -- Janarius Robinson choked back tears after his final high school football game. His Panama City (Fla.) Bay team fell Friday to Crawfordville (Fla.) Wakulla, 21-16. The 6'5, 260-pound defensive end was exhausted after returning quickly from surgery on his right hand. He played with high energy, notching some tackles for loss and batting down passes, though Wakulla mostly avoided him.

Robinson spoke of how he and his senior teammates had really been with the program for five years, lifting weights in middle school and pledging to change Bay High's fortunes. They did, as Bay had its best season in over a decade.

After, Robinson spoke of his recruitment. He's been committed to Florida State since September of 2014, but has made no secret of keeping his options open.

Robinson has been watching freshman Josh Sweat start for Florida State, and could see himself making an early impact as well.

"He's doing pretty good as a true freshman," Robinson said. "I think I could fit in there."

He'll learn more about the school to which he's committed Saturday, as he's taking an official visit there. Robinson says he knows he is a priority and will look to improve his bond with the coaches.

Robinson described his recent visit to Alabama as "great," and said that he really liked everything in Tuscaloosa. Insiders believe Alabama defensive line coach Tosh Lupoi has done a great job with his recruitment.

Robinson also plans to officially visit Florida, where he has a good relationship with defensive line coach Chris Rumph, and Georgia, but has not set those dates yet.

Keith Gavin

On the other side of the field, a four-star receiver was celebrating "finally" making it out of the first round of the playoffs. Keith Gavin, of Wakulla, had been committed to Florida State for more than a year before decommitting in August. He spoke about his relationship with the Seminoles, but also about his being recruited by Alabama, Florida and even Georgia in the video, below.
