The Irish are racking up style points with this move.
Pretty cool recruiting story Thursday morning as Notre Dame showed up to the home of prized Savannah athlete Demetris Robertson in its equipment truck. Recruiting is about relationships and family and promising playing time, but also about finding ways to stand out and show that a recruit is a priority. This is creative, fun, and as far as I can tell, legal under NCAA rules.
Notre Dame outside my house; we have a surprise for SCPS too!! #GoIrishpic.twitter.com/ZfW7pfmRNA

Notre Dame is battling Georgia, Alabama and a few others for Robertson's signature, and he has stated that he might extend the process beyond National Signing Day to ensure he is making the right decision. Notre Dame showing up to Robertson's home and then going to his school with the truck could help sway him to the Irish, as he is already enamored with the academics and support in South Bend.
