Northern Illinois' QB Jordan Lynch is a good quarterback. Very good. The junior was the MAC's leader in total offense by an enormous margin, and the player of the year. He has a strong arm and is very athletic.
And he might just be a little nuts, because Thursday, Lynch shared his thoughts on the Florida State defense. As in, the Seminole defense that allows the fewest yards/play in the whole country and is rated 12th in defensive efficiency.
In comparison, the best defense NIU has faced this year was probably Kent State (73rd nationally in yards/play, 44th in defensive efficiency). NIU's offense is certainly good, and likely underrated by many. But it hasn't faced athletes like Florida State has on defense.
Anyhow, here are the tweets.

Fact? RT @sn_greenberg: Jordan Lynch on FSU's defense: "They're fast. They're physical. But they haven't seen anything like our offense."

It's not hard to imagine something like this making its way to Florida State's coaching staff and on to the motivational board.
