Defensive back prospect Vonn Bell is one of the top players at his position in the class of 2013, and he's coming off a visit to Ohio State over the weekend. By every indication, that visit went well ($).
"I talked just now to (Vonn’s) dad," Bell's high school coach said. "His dad is going to come to the school tomorrow and fill me in on everything. But they said it was a great visit and they had a great time."
But the Buckeyes are contending with Nick Saban and Alabama for Bell's services, and it could be tough to lure him away from the Crimson Tide. Bell recently spoke highly of the Alabama program, and he sounds excited about the prospect of working with Saban.
"Alabama ... it just speaks for itself," Bell said. They are in the national championship again. Coach Nick Saban, he's a DB coach, and he's going to be coaching me. So Coach Saban has got guys into the NFL, so his name speaks for himself."
Bell is a four-star prospect according to Rivals.com, and one of the top 150 players in the 2013 class.
