Florida State is set to host an impressive group of visitors in Tallahassee this weekend, headlined by star receiver Stacy Coley.

Northeast HS (Fort Lauderdale, FL) | 6-1/175 | Tottenville HS (Staten Island, NY) | 6-0/205 |
Coley is widely considered the best receiver recruit in Florida. He's an extremely natural and fluid pass catcher, and insiders believe that Florida State has been his leader for some time now. He was originally supposed to visit last weekend, but rescheduled for this weekend so that his parent could join him. Miami is also getting involved with his recruitment, but most Florida State insiders feel confident here. Coley is a consensus top-five receiver nationally. | Edwards is an intriguing prospect who has seen his recruitment take off in recent months. A commitment to Syracuse, Edwards displays good balance and has the frame to add weight. He could be a multi-purpose back, both toting the rock and blocking. Some question whether the Seminoles would take Edwards' commitment, but with FSU fading for Alex Collins, it's hard to see them saying no to a kid who comes down all the way from New York.
Wilson Bell | OG | Nate Andrews | DB |
Blount HS (Eight Mile, AL) | 6-4/290 | Fairhope HS (AL) | 6-0/190 |
Bell is a commitment to UCF. He has good size and a frame to add weight. Florida State got on Bell after bringing in Jeremy Pruitt, formerly of Alabama, to be its defensive coordinator. Bell is in Pruitt's recruiting territory, which includes Mobile. He is a three-star recruit. | Another Mobile-area recruit, there is some dispute as to whether FSU would take a commitment from Andrews at the moment. He plays some receiver in high school, but Florida State likes the three-star recruit as a defensive back.
John Franklin | ATH | ||
South Plantation HS (Fort Lauderdale, FL) | 6-2/175
Franklin is an athletic kid and has been committed to Florida State for more than a month. He wants a true shot to play quarterback, however, and recently visited Tennessee, where it is believed he would get a true shot to play the position. A flip to the Volunteers is certainly possible, and under Jimbo Fisher, Florida State is not in the habit of promising a prospect he can play a certain position and then moving him. Receiver or defensive back should be his ultimate destination if he has aspirations of a pro career down the line. Franklin is a three-star recruit. |
