As expected, Alpharetta (Ga.) Milton High School running back Peyton Barber committed to the Auburn Tigers Sunday night, according to multiple reports.

Barber also had an offer from Texas, and is a four-star recruit according to most services. He had recently decommitted from the Ole Miss Rebels. This is an excerpt from the decommital story.
SB Nation predicted the move earlier in the week in its National Signing Day Predictions. Barber is expected to sign with Auburn.
Barber is the teammate of Carl Lawson, a five-star defensive end who reaffirmed his commitment to the Auburn Tigers Sunday.
Barber visited Auburn over the weekend.

Auburn is also in the running for defensive tackle Montravius Adams and defensive end Elijah Daniel, who rate as five and four stars, respectively. Both visited the Tigers over the weekend.
