Where does your time in Tallahassee rank against other periods in FSU football history?

I was going along and thinking about ways to evaluate Jimbo Fisher's results as a head coach to this point. Fisher's Seminoles are 31-10 overall (76%), 27-9 in the regular season (75%), 19-7 in the ACC (73%) and 18-6 in the ACC regular season (75%). A .750 winning mark is very good, as you can see from the list of coaches with a career mark of .750 or better (vacated losses excluded, which takes Bowden, Paterno and Tressel off the list). And indeed, a .750 mark in the regular season is the goal we established for Fisher in the summer before his first season.

But where does Fisher's three-years rank in Florida State history? In the last 40 seasons, right in the middle (better than the Lost Decade and the pre-dynasty years, but not among the dynasty years).

Then I got to thinking about where his first four seasons in Tallahassee will rank. We won't know that for about a year. But what we can do until then is speculate, and reminisce about our time spent in Tallahassee, assuming you started at Florida State on or after the 1973 season. Why 1973? Because I got tired and 40 seasons seems like enough.

Where do your four years rank?

Were you during the dynasty years (87-20)? Before that (73-86)? The Lost Decade, perhaps (especially 06-09)? Or are you still in school and waiting to finish out your string?

Me? I'm in the '03-'06 group, which ranks 28th out of 37.

As for where Fisher's first four years will rank, I think the most likely result after 2013 will have his mark at within a game or two of 41-13 (76%).
