So far in the recruiting process of Robert Nkemdiche, we've heard from the player himself, his coach, and his father. All seem to be fairly sold on his commitment to the Clemson Tigers. One person we had not heard from was the No. 1 recruit's mother, Beverly. That changed Thursday.
Nkemdiche's mother lives in Nigeria, and she is not fully sold on his commitment to Clemson.
Beverly was alarmed when she returned this summer to learn how serious Robert's commitment to Clemson was being reported.
"His decision is not final," Beverley Nkemdiche told ESPN. "He's just a teenager, and people are forgetting that. We had never discussed Clemson, and I am unhappy with Clemson. I'm not there, so I don't know for certain, but I feel like Robert was pressured into this decision."
As any coach worth his salt knows, you gotta recruit momma. One would have to imagine that Dabo Swinney will soon be on the horn to Nigeria.
