Alabama has landed its quarterback of the future in Ricky Town, according to multiple reports. Out of Ventura (Calif.) St. Bonaventure, Town is a member of the class of 2015. Some regard him as the top quarterback in the country, and a few even believe he might be the best player in the nation for his class.
Town recently spoke with Rivals.com about Alabama:
"I think that it is a special program," Town said after his first visit to Alabama. "It would be an honor to be in a program like Alabama. They are all about creating the overall person, not just the football player. That is what really impressed me.
"You are going to be a better football player and young man. That really caught my eye...My dad and I were the only two who came this time. We are going to bring my mom and brother back hopefully for a game."
Town stands 6'4 and weighs in at 195 pounds, with room to add more muscle to his frame. He also held offers from Georgia, Texas, UCLA, Miami, USC, Arizona State and Florida State.
