Live updates from the camp will begin in the comment section around 10 a.m., and the event lasts until around 2 p.m.

The Nike football recruit camp tour rolls into Washington D.C. Saturday morning and many of the best players from around the beltway will try to show they deserve one of the coveted spots at Nike's The Opening, a premiere showcase in early July at Nike's headquarters in Oregon.

Many elite prospects are expected. Here are a few of the best.

Quarterback Kai Locksley of Maryland holds offers from Florida State, Auburn, Maryland and 20 other schools.

Running back Reggie Corbin of D.C.'s Gonzaga high school holds more than 15 offers including Stanford, Oregon and Ole Miss.

Receiver Jaason Lewis, of Virginia, is a UCLA commitment and has numerous other top schools after him.

Offensive lineman Quarvez Boulware of D.C.'s Friendship Academy holds more than 20 offers including Auburn, Florida State, Maryland and Clemson. Matthew Burrell of Virginia's Hylton high school also has more than 20 offers including Alabama, Florida, FSU, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State, South Carolina, Texas and Virginia Tech. David Robbins of Maryland's Glenelg School is a Florida State commitment.

Defensive lineman Josh Sweat of Virginia is likely the best defensive end in the country and holds offers from just about every major school in college football. Trevon Hill of Virginia's Salem High School holds offers from Virginia Tech, Clemson, North Carolina and Virginia. Tim Settle of Virginia' Stonewall Jackson High School holds more than 20 offers including Alabama, Ohio State and Florida State. The same goes for Good Counsel's Darius Fullwood.

Linebacker Chad Smith of Virginia's Dominon High School is a Clemson commitment and holds multiple top offers as well. And Tyriq Thompson of Detroit MLK HS holds more than 10 offers including Michigan, Michigan State and Wisconsin. Jahvoni Simmons of Virginia's Ocean Lakes High School holds more than 20 offers including Alabama, Ohio State, Clemson and Tennessee.

Defensive back Marcus Lewis is transferring to Florida's IMG Academy, but the Florida commitment will participate before he does. Lewis has more than 20 major offers.
