Florida State landed a star out of Crawfordville (Fla.) Wakulla in the class of 2008 -- Nigel Bradham. Now, another member of the Wakulla squad has joined the fold, Keith Gavin. Gavin is a very good receiver prospect for the class of 2016. He stands 6'3, weighs 210 pounds, and makes a lot of plays. He is rated a four-star by most services at this very early juncture.
Gavin also held offers from Florida, Clemson, Miami and others, and was an important target for Florida State to keep home in the panhandle. He visited FSU Saturday and came away impressed.
Gavin spoke with Chris Nee of 247sports ($), who broke the story initially.
"I have been an FSU fan all of my life," Gavin said. "This is one of the best things to ever happen to me."
Gavin joins Cedric Wood, a four-star defensive tackle out of Tallahassee (Fla.) Godby High School, as the second member of the class of 2016. Gavin is also the teammate of QB Feleipe Franks, a QB who is currently committed to LSU for the 2016 class, but who is also considering other schools. Franks holds an FSU offer.
