FSU always seems to have some talent on hand.
Though FSU is favored by 38 over Wake Forest, FSU will still have some important visitors on hand to take in the game.
Tomahawk Nation will update this post after kickoff to reflect who actually showed up, but as of now, here is who we are expecting to show up. There are always some late additions
The top in-state visitor is Kevin Toliver II, of Trinity Christian in Jacksonville, a five-star cornerback who is solidly committed to LSU. Toliver is smart, however, and is taking all of his visits just in case something were to happen with LSU. While we do not expect FSU to flip Toliver, if he has a good time on his visit, he may tell other recruits about the positive experience in Tallahassee. His visit is an official visit.
The other major visitor on an official visit is Minkah Fitzpatrick, a New Jersey five-star defensive back who is committed to Alabama. Fitzpatrick might be easier to flip than Toliver. His visit is an official visit.
FSU commit Nyqwan Murray, an FSU receiver commit out of Orlando (Fla.) Oak Ridge will be there, as will his friend Jacques Patrick, a superstar running back recruit from Orlando (Fla.) Timber Creek who most expect to select Florida State.
2015 commit Derwin James, the safety from Haines City (Fla.), will also be checking out the action. We think James is so good that he could get a lot of playing time for FSU right now, even as a high school senior.
I'm also expecting 2016 Florida State defensive end commitment Janarius Robinson, of Panama City (Fla.) Bay High School.
Florida State currently sits at 19 commitments, and is about 70 percent done with its class. It's still looking to add another running back, another offensive lineman, several more defensive linemen and some more defensive backs. FSU is in strong contention for another top-five recruiting class, and should again sign more blue chip prospects than non-blue chips, which is the formula to win national championships over the last decade or two.
