Florida State students have some moves. Jameis Winston was in the lead for this run against Oklahoma State, in which, Winston, who normally runs a bit like a pregnant woman, showed some ridiculous athleticism in breaking four tackles, even in this slowed down clip.
But last Thursday, freshman Dalvin Cook put on a move that seemed worthy of the top honor. This is how we described it in our film review.
Power to field (left), Cook cuts wide left, and Jimbo says it best: "it's why Dalvin Cook is Dalvin Cook". Changes the numbers on the scoreboard. Good downfield blocking. 1-arm Cam Erving can't get his down block fully which screws with Jackson's angle, and forces Cook to make a ridiculous cut. Great acceleration, too.
But now there is a new challenger: Michelle Roque, a member of FSU's Delta Gamma sorority. Roque evades the rush in her flag football game with a spin move, gets skinny to split two defenders, jukes another out of her socks, and uses one final spin move to get away. Roque is no stranger to football stardom, by the way.
