Chad Wilson played for the Miami Hurricanes and the Seattle Seahawks. His son, Quincy, was a four-star recruit and played significant snaps for the Florida Gators as a true freshman in 2014.

But thanks to a crazy catch caught on video, Wilson's youngest son, Marco, a class of 2017 defensive back recruit, is already more famous than his father and older brother -- combined.

Tuesday, Marco's catch, which has more than five million loops on Vine, was featured on Good Morning America and The Today Show.

"[Marco] came home and said hey man, I think I made a catch that might make me Vine famous," his father Chad Wilson said.

Wilson, who runs @GridironStuds thought it would get a few hundred retweets.

"I thought it was amazing, but none of us expected this," he said.

So how did the video come about?

Marco has been flipping since he was eight or nine years old, Chad said. "The catching it one-handed is probably the harder part for him."

"So we took him to this gym where people can run up a wall and all kinds of silliness (AKA parkour and free running)," Wilson said. "If you've seen the people in this gym, they all belong in a circus."

Marco actually made a video of himself practicing parkour and free running as a 12- and 13-year old.

"We've always wanted him to stop and I'm glad he never listened," Wilson said.

"He has another one we're going to release and he's standing still and doing a flip then catching it," he said. "Then someone said ‘you should do this while running.'"

It actually was tougher for the guy throwing the ball to get the timing right than it was for Marco to catch it.

"It took four tries. He has the clips, and the first three, the throw was too high. He caught the first one that was on target," Wilson said.

But the video has not led to any new offers for the youngest Wilson, who already boasts letters from South Carolina, Florida, Alabama, Arkansas and others.

"I've had some college coaches tell me how amazing the catch was, but no new offers since the release Saturday," he said.
