Would Zembiec ever inflate or deflate a football? And would he take LeBron or Jordan?
COLUMBUS, OH -- Out of Rochester (NY) Aquinas Institute, QB Jake Zembiec has collected over 30 college scholarship offers. In November 2014, he said yes to one from Penn State. I had the chance to observe Zembiec on Sunday at the Columbus Nike Opening Regional Camp, where he took part in the Elite 11 competition.
Zembiec, a three-star recruit according to 247Sports, showed good fundamentals, throwing the ball with velocity and touch. He struggled in the 7-on-7 portion of the competition, failing to diagnose coverages and process the changes quickly, but he performed well enough overall to be selected as one of the participants in the "pressure cooker" final portion of the camp. Zembiec is also noticeably bigger than a year ago, checking in at 6'3.5 and 212 pounds.

As of June 1, Penn State has nine commitments in the class of 2016. Five of the nine are rated as four-star recruits.
