Tyner's hiatus didn't last long.
Just a day after top running back recruit Thomas Tyner decommitted from Oregon to take visits to other schools, he is back in the fold for the Ducks according to Justin Hopkins of 247 sports.
"I've always loved Oregon and the coaching staff and the team. This is home and this is where I want to play my college football. That never changed, I just thought I should take some other visits to be 100-percent certain. But after some thinking, I know this is where I want to be. I want to be a Duck."
Tyner is a back with good size at more than 200 pounds and has breakaway speed. Assuming he sticks with Oregon, he will be capable of hitting a lot of home runs in Chip Kelly's spread offense.
Don't expect Tyner to be the last top recruit to decommit this fall in order to take visits. In fact, there should be many more.
