Update: The original report was an amusing mistake.
Robert Nkemdiche, the top recruit in America for the class of 2013, will take an official visit to the University of Kentucky according to Jimmy Smith of the New Orleans Times Picayune.
Nkemdiche, out of Loganville (Ga.) Grayson High School, stands 6'5 and weighs in at 275 pounds, but has the athleticism of a much small athlete. Many thought he was the best high school player in the country when he was a junior in 2011.
Once committed to Clemson, Nkemdiche decommitted after realizing he had rushed the decision, perhaps at the insistence of his mother, a high-ranking government official in Nigeria. She wants Robert to attend Ole Miss, with her son Denzel, a lightly-recruited (due to grades issues) freshman on whom Ole Miss took a chance and were richly rewarded by his tremendous on-field play this season.
Nkemdiche recently narrowed his list to Ole Miss and LSU, but said that several other schools, which at the time did not include Kentucky, were also in the mix.
Nkemdiche still has visits scheduled to Florida and LSU, as well as Kentucky. He is expected by most to choose Ole Miss.
