After being dismissed from Florida State for repeated violations of team rules, wildly popular cornerback Greg Reid will play for Valdosta State this season. Reid is originally from Valdosta.
Good luck man. Stay focused. 8 months until the draft RT

Valdosta is just up the road, and I'm sure many 'Nole fans will head to a game or two to see one of the most electric punt returners in all of college football. Ankles will be broken.
And yes, Reid tweeted that photo and is transferring to the Blazers.
Hopefully, Reid can stay on the straight and narrow. The next eight months are a vital time in Reid's life, as it includes both the football season and the NFL Draft. Reid really needs to avoid the use of drugs and any other criminal activity.
Valdosta undoubtedly holds an existing support system of some sort for Reid, but it's also quite possible that this is a poor choice. There are plenty of people in Valdosta who do not have Reid's best interest at heart, and with whom it would be easy to get in trouble.
Here's rooting for Reid to do in Valdosta what he could not do in Tallahassee: make good life choices on a consistent basis. The stuff on the field will take care of itself.
